Be Bliss Yoga

About Raji February 25, 2009

Raji (Kelley Simpson) draws on the joy of her own daily sadhana (personal practice)  to inspire and uplift others in her teaching.   I choose to use my spiritual name as much as possible as a constant reminder; this name means, ‘princess, lioness of God, who dwells in a divine state of conciousness and uplifts others with kindess and compassion…YES!!

As a former competitive gymnast, it was natural for me  to explore yoga and the inner self through the physical body. As an early 20 something year old,  a wild and crazy bridge jumping incident led me to my JUMPING OFF PLACE of yoga.   A journey that began for very physical reasons, dealing with an incapacitating back injury, eventually led me to the true gift of yoga,  the  power to connect to the infinite within.    I pursued my passion to complete the Kundalini Teacher Training in Crestone, Colorado and the Khalsa Way Prenatal Kundalini Training at Omega Institute in New York.    The training continues for me daily,  with the victory of  finding my way to my mat; even if just for minutes.  This practice is what allows me to keep up with the pressure of the times with grace and joy.   I am also the lucky mother of Finn, age 6; who keeps my sadhana real in the early hours!

My goal is to give YOU the tools you need so you can live a creative, fulfilling life.   I am  thrilled to be doing what I love and sharing that passion to elevate others.
